Spring fever has hit especially hard this year as the local temps have been in the upper 40’s to low 50’s. There’s still a lot of snow in the mountains around here so the decision was to head south even though it meant de-winterizing the travel trailer.
This time we packed up the travel trailer and quads and headed for Logandale, NV to ride the Logandale Trails System.
This was a special trip because Deb and I talked her brother who lives in SoCal into joining us. I really don’t think it took much convincing once he learned there was camping, quads and some adult beverages involved.
The weather was fantastic, especially Sunday where it was cloudless and about 80 degrees.
This was our longest travel distance pulling the travel trailer with the atv trailer behind it. The trip went very well. The only problems we had were a broken roll pin on the TT tongue jack, a leaky water supply hose, and a cable I had to lock the quads to the trailer. The cable drug on the ground for for quite a while and needs to be replaced. All in all it was a great trip and one that I would like to do again.
Back in Utah and there’s some rain/snow coming as well as freezing temps. Time to winterize the trailer again 🙁
